West Midlands Newborn Photographer | Rose, 11days new

So many sessions to blog, I’m totally running behind! Beautiful Rose came to see me a few weeks ago for her newborn session. 11 days new and absolutely perfect in every way! Angelfire Photography specialises in newborn, baby, family, child, maternity and wedding photography in West Midlands, England and surrounding areas including but not limited to Stourbridge and Birmingham.
The other day I had the honour of photographing beautiful baby Olivia, or ‘Dotty’ as the midwives at the hospital nicknamed her due to her being so very tiny (and perfect in every way!!) Olivia gave her mommy and daddy a bit of a scare by arriving quite a lot earlier than she was supposed to and at just over 5lbs she certainly lived up to her name! She was an absolute dream to photograph! I don’t think she opened her eyes the whole session, and look at all that hair!! Gorgeous baby girl šŸ™‚ Love my job!!
Last Saturday I was lucky enough to go on theĀ Welcome Home workshopĀ with Emma Case and Pete Smyth. I’ve admired Emma’s work from afar for many years so to actually meet them and learn from them was a wonderful opportunity in itself. What actually happened on the workshop sort of knocked me for six. Like, seriously. It was more than a workshop, it was like a big bundle of everything that makes me love what I get to call a job. Its hard to explain and I’m pretty bad with explaining myself with words (hence why I love photography!!
I’m quite rubbish with blogging, I never seem to find the words to go with the photos, or make it interesting or ‘buzz word’ friendly enough to warrant a ton of followers or blogger fame. But if I could get everyone to read about Clayre and her angel babies, and then share it with one other person, I would be eternally grateful. A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to do a photo session with one of the strongest and amazing families I’ve ever met before. Clayre and her 2 daughters, Maddy and Isobel are not only beautiful,

I know its a cliche, but I cant believe how quickly this year has gone! Look at the difference in Max! This is December 2010 And this is him now!!! This time last year, my little boy was 4 months old and to be honest, I was still quite poorly from the labour I’d had which had resulted in an emergency c-section and then a Bell’s Palsy. I didn’t think I would ever feel ‘normal’ again, and the thought of running a successful photography business myself was really impossible. But 12 months later, I cant believe its true! I’ve
Here’s my entry for this months Rock the ShotĀ competition. Its a photo from a recent maternity shoot I did with a lovely lady called Jamie. I love that you can just see her tattoo but not so much that its distracting and the heart on her ring which adds a touch of detail to the shot. We did the photos by her gorgeous conservatory and the light was just perfect that day it was brilliant. You can see the rest of the shoot hereĀ along with someĀ other recent maternity sessions. Go take a look atĀ http://www.rocktheshotforum.com/ Ā for some great tips and
In February 2006 my family and myself went on holiday to New York. It was a dream come true for me, I’d always wanted to go there and it lived up to everything I’d imagined it would be. The busy traffic, the yellow taxis, Macy’s, the Empire State building, Rockafeller Center, we did it all and it was all wonderful. Halfway through our week my family and I pondered the question of whether or not to go to Ground Zero. Not as a tourist attraction, not as something to say we’d seen but to pay our respects to something
