West Midlands Birth Photographer |Welcome to the world Amelie

Whoops its been a little while since my last blog! Its been SO busy the last 2 months, I don’t know where to start and what to blog first! Well I do sort of know what to blog first, and thats Amelie’s birth story! When my sister asked me to be her birth partner I was so thrilled. She always said she wanted me to be present if she ever had another baby, but it was one of those things you say as sisters, and I never thought she was serious! When she found out she was pregnant 9
Apologies for the lack of blog posts lately but finally my new website is here and I LOVE it!! Its taken me a while to decide exactly what I wanted but I’m so pleased with the results!! Part of having a new website meant also getting some updated shots of me, I hate being on the other side of the camera so decided to combine having my photo taken with a newborn session! I thought it might be nice to share some of the behind the scenes (images taken by my lovely assistant Rachel), and show what I do
Well 2015 was quite a year to look back on! I’m going to try and keep the words to a minimum so there is more room for the images! 2015 for me as a photographer was nothing short of wonderful and my busiest year to date with 2016 already a quarter of the way fully booked. I was privileged enough to capture so many amazing moments. First breaths, first looks, first steps, first time being called Mr and Mrs, as well as once in a lifetime moments in some spectacular locations. I travelled up and down the
I was sooooo excited to meet baby Aidas a few weeks ago! I was lucky enough to photograph his beautiful mama’s maternity photos (which you can see here) and I couldn’t wait to meet this little guy! Aidas had other ideas and ended up being overdue and taking a little longer than we expected lol!! He was a gorgeous hunk of chunk though and I was so glad I got to capture these special moments for his mom and dad 🙂   Angelfire Photography specialises in newborn, baby, family, child, maternity and wedding photography in West Midlands, England and
Well what can I say about this family! I first photographed Harry when he was only a few days old, then again at 18 months, and then again when his beautiful baby sister Elizabeth came along (who Harry has nicknamed ‘Beans’) and a few weeks ago I got to photograph the whole family again! I’m so grateful for clients like these, not just because they keep coming back to me, but because I get to see them grow as a family. I think the part of my job I love the most is telling a story with pictures, and
Still catching up with blog posts! Gorgeous Finley came to see me at just 13 days old. He was a total superstar and didn’t open his eyes once the whole time he was here! The whole session only lasted and hour and a half because he slept so soundly 🙂 What a handsome little fella!   Angelfire Photography specialises in newborn, baby, family, child, maternity and wedding photography in West Midlands, England and surrounding areas including but not limited to Stourbridge and Birmingham.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! I ran a little competition on my Facebook page to win a 12×8 print of the winders choice which I will announce after 4pm on 21st June. Here’s a few of my favourite images featuring dads from this year. 🙂 A truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty. ~Author Unknown Angelfire Photography specialises in newborn, baby, family, child, maternity and wedding photography in West Midlands, England and surrounding areas including but not limited to Stourbridge and Birmingham.
