West Midlands Wedding Photographer |Brad & Rachel’s Wedding, Port Issac

I don’t know how I never blogged this wedding from last year! But seeing all the images pop up on time hop on Facebook this week has reminded me to get these images up on here! Happy 1st anniversary to you both! I hope the first year of married life has been as amazing as your wedding day and that you had a lovely anniversary together! Brad and Rachel got married at Saint Endoc Church in Daymer  Bay, followed by a party at Roscarrock Manor Farm in Port Issac. Every single thing about their day was perfect, and the
When I had the message from Eve many months ago about the possibility of photographing her baby’s birth I was excited for so many reasons! Firstly because I know how long she and her husband have been waiting for this little one, and secondly because I’ve know her literally since I was 5 years old. My earliest memories of primary school all include Eve, as well as sitting in her front room and listening to Kylie and Jason on repeat (well it was the 80s haha!!), and eating fish and chip crisps, talking about who we would marry and
Well its that time again! 2016 has been one crazy ride, so many highs, lows and in-betweens its hard to know where to start! Professionally 2016 has been the busiest year I’ve ever had which has been just unbelievable. I say it every year but I do honestly sit back and wonder how I was so lucky to turn my passion into my job, and actually get to do it every single day! I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many families, whether that be bumps, weddings, babies, children, births and had my work published on an international level
Well this summer has been an absolute whirlwind! I’ve been lucky enough to photograph weddings up and down the country, as well as welcoming many lovely clients into the studio for sessions. All of these bookings plus 6 weeks school holidays with my wonderful boy has meant I’m really slacking in blog posts!! So, going to kick off the blog drought on here with one of the first weddings of the summer at Curradine Barns . Its one of the closer to home weddings I’ve worked this year, but definitely one of the most stunning. After wondering about the weather
Well 2015 was quite a year to look back on! I’m going to try and keep the words to a minimum so there is more room for the images! 2015 for me as a photographer was nothing short of wonderful and my busiest year to date with 2016 already a quarter of the way fully booked. I was privileged enough to capture so many amazing moments. First breaths, first looks, first steps, first time being called Mr and Mrs, as well as once in a lifetime moments in some spectacular locations. I travelled up and down the
Well this is a big one! It was so hard to cull images for Solene and Toby’s blog post as it was literally amazing and I didn’t want to leave out anything! They both started the day getting ready at their parents houses about 10 minutes apart from each other. It was so much fun to capture the prep for both bride and groom, there were just so many people in each house, it was just such a family atmosphere. I knew this would be a wedding that stayed with me for a long time. Solene and Toby got married
When I first met Laura and Si, getting on for 12 months ago, I just knew we were going to get on like a house on fire!! They were having their vintage chic inspired, laid back wedding at Hyde Barn  in The Cotswolds, which is one of my most favourite venues. They are such an incredibly chilled out couple, their wedding planning and wedding day was an absolute joy to be a part of! Laura looked stunning in her 50’s inspired dress, and even though it rained for the ceremony so it all had to be moved
I first met Kev probably around 8 possibly 9 (eek I feel old) years ago when I photographed a lot of bands. Kev was the singer of a band called Voodoo Johnson and I photographed them many times over the years. You can actually still see some of my old band work HERE  be alive it or not! I spent on average 2-4 nights a week at a concert of some kind for many years doing work for different websites, blogs and magazines up until I had my little boy 5 years ago. Kev was a lovely guy and I
One of my favourite things about photographing weddings is getting to know my couples! As I travel up and down the country for weddings, (and fingers crossed next year abroad!!), I dont always get to meet couples in person until the wedding day. We have lots of Skype consultations, but one of the best ways to get to know them is by having a pre-wedding or engagement shoot! These only last around an hour and are a total giggle! Its a great way to practice your wedding face (lol) and to get some photos of you and your other half
When Lou got in touch with me to discuss her wedding over 12 months ago and she told me where the wedding was being held, I had never heard of Tunnels Beaches before. One quick google search later and I was absolutely in love with what I found. I dont think I’ve been so excited about a venue for quite some time! The venue itself is carved in to the side of the cliff in the beautiful town of Ilfracombe with some of the most spectacular views I’ve seen on the British coastline! My mind went into hyperdrive with
