When Lou got in touch with me to discuss her wedding over 12 months ago and she told me where the wedding was being held, I had never heard of Tunnels Beaches before. One quick google search later and I was absolutely in love with what I found. I dont think I’ve been so excited about a venue for quite some time! The venue itself is carved in to the side of the cliff in the beautiful town of Ilfracombe with some of the most spectacular views I’ve seen on the British coastline! My mind went into hyperdrive with ideas for their couples portraits and I just hoped and prayed we would get a day with half decent weather so I could get them all done!
Both Andrew and Lou started off getting ready at The Woolacombe Bay Hotel which was a short 15 minute drive away from Tunnels. The hotel was stunning and both Lou and Andrew’s friends and family made me feel so welcome, it was a joy to be a part of their day.
The weather on their wedding day was absolutely perfect and it almost felt like we were on a tropical island! Their couple portraits are some of my favourite I’ve ever taken! Beautiful wedding and I’m so honoured I got to be a part of it!
